Day 1 - Basle
Fly to Basle and transfer to your ship. After boarding become acquainted with the city.

Day 2 - Basle
Join a tour of the multi-cultural city in the morning visiting the historic Middle Bridge, the cathedral and the winding streets. There will be free time to tour the many art museums.

Day 3 - Breisach
Breisach is reached at breakfast. Join our coach for a scenic excursion through the area’s renowned mountain landscape. Visit a local workshop and see a cuckoo clock made. Enjoy some free time or take an optional excursion to Colmar, a quaint Alsatian town.

Day 4 - Strasbourg
Arrive in Kehl in the early afternoon and disembark for your guided tour of Strasbourg visiting the Place d’Austerlitz, the European Parliament and the city’s famed cathedral. Cruise through the night.

Day 5 - Heidelberg & Rüdesheim
After breakfast you will take a coach to Heidelberg where you take a guided tour. Return to the ship for lunch and afternoon cruising. After dinner aboard, take time to stroll through Rüdesheim and its Drosselgasse.

Day 6 - Rüdesheim & Koblenz
In the morning a mini-train takes you up the hill to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum, filled with self-playing instruments. Enjoy free time. In the afternoon take a tour of the 700-year-old Marksburg Castle and its museum followed by some free time to explore Koblenz on your own.

Day 7 - Cochem
After breakfast take a walking tour through this famous wine town on the Moselle with its medieval gate and market place. Cruise through the afternoon arriving in Cologne in the evening where you can enjoy some free time.

Day 8 - Cologne
Your morning walking tour passes through the Old Town visiting St. Martin’s Church and Cologne’s mighty cathedral. You then have a look at a renowned local brewery and sample a delicious Kölsch, the hometown brew.

Day 9 - Arnhem
After arrival in Arnhem, enjoy a coach excursion to the Dutch Royal Family’s former summer residence, Paleis Het Loo¹. After lunch aboard, explore the town or join the optional battlefield tour visiting the site of Operation Market Garden and the Airborne museum.

Day 10 - Amsterdam
Enjoy a glass-topped canal cruise in the morning past the famed Skinny Bridge. Visit the Van Gogh Museum and see his famous works. Enjoy free time exploring picturesque Amsterdam. Lunch and dinner is served on board.

Day 11 - Gouda & Rotterdam
After breakfast take a coach tour to Hoogerwaard Cheese Farm² and continue on to Gouda, world-renowned for its cheese. Rejoining in Schoonhoven, enjoy lunch on board followed by free time. Sail through dinner to Rotterdam.

Day 12 - Delft
From Rotterdam a coach tour takes you to Delft, famous for its blue and white pottery. Visit a Delftware factory for a pottery demonstration on your guided tour. Lunch and dine aboard; cruise through the evening to Ghent.

Day 13 - Bruges
In the morning take a coach tour to Bruges visiting the medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the Church of Our Lady. Enjoy a Belgian meal in a local restaurant followed by some free time. After dinner on board, your evening is at leisure.

Day 14 - Antwerp
In the morning you tour Antwerp seeing the cathedral, the Town Hall and Steen Castle. Then visit the Rubens Museum filled with works by famous Flemish 17th century painter Peter Paul Rubens. After lunch aboard, the rest of the day is free.

Day 15 - Antwerp
After breakfast, disembark and transfer to Brussels airport for your return flight.

¹ Closed on Mondays. Battlefield visit or museum will be substituted.
² On Sundays, the cheese farm will be replaced by a Kinderdijk windmills tour.
