Experience the wonders of nature at the world's largest horticultural show, held only once every ten years, on our great-value cruise. See the beautiful Rhine from the welcoming MS Olympia, pass through the extraordinary Rhine Gorge, and visit the wonderful Rhineland city of Cologne, and the famous wine town of Rudesheim.

4-Day Break
Itinerary
Day One
Leave your selected pick-up point this morning, and head south to cross the Channel and join Olympia. Enjoy a first meal on board, and – time-permitting – step ashore to soak up the city's atmosphere in the Altstadt's renowned Brauhauser (brewery houses selling the local beer, Kolsch).
Day Two
After breakfast, board the coach and head to the Dutch town of Venlo for the spectacular Floriade 2012. Explore the themed zones and find out how horticulture can influence our daily lives; marvel at the beautiful floral displays; and enjoy the host of exhibitions and shows, before stopping for lunch (payable locally).
You'll return to Olympia to enjoy dinner and entertainment this evening, before the ship begins her journey up river.
Day Three
Today Olympia cruises into the 'Middle Rhine', a romantic land of vineyards, castles and pretty villages. Sailing past Braubach and Boppard, Bad Salzig and Sankt Goar, you'll pass through the narrow gorge beneath the Lorelei, the legendary rock where sirens were said to have lured sailors to their fate.
This afternoon, Olympia ties up in the celebrated wineland town of Rudesheim. Visit some of the bars and weinstuben (wine taverns) that line the famous Drosselgasse, before perhaps joining our optional excursion to see the quirky wonders of Siegfried's MusikKabinett.
This evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment on board Olympia.
Day Four
Disembark in Andernach this morning, and say goodbye to Olympia and her crew this morning as you begin your journey back to the UK.
